Agne Vaitkeviciute was born in Vilnius and studied law at Mykolas Romeris University. Having defended her PhD in EU law, she continued working as a legal counsel in the private sector and a law lecturer at Mykolas Romeris University. After completing her LL.M degree in Tilburg, the Netherlands and after the traineeship at the European Commission in Brussels, Agne started working at the Institute for Labour Law and Industrial Relations in the European Union at the University of Trier, Germany. Currently she has been working at Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for Procedural Law.

Ausra Saltenyte was born in Vilnius. She graduated from Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences in Vilnius with a Bachelor degree in Ecology, then achieved her Master’s degree in Public Administration at Mykolas Romeris University. Ausra remained at Mykolas Romeris University to complete her PhD in Social Sciences (Management and Administration). In 2006, she joined the Department of Environmental Policy and Management, Mykolas Romeris University and in 2008, began to work as a lecturer. Her research interests include biodiversity conservation, biodiversity and protected areas management. She is currently working as a manager in a private plant nursery.
